Thursday evening saw the meeting to discuss “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Tracy Chevalier. Finally a book was found where everyone loved and nearly doted on Griet (the main character) the whole hour was nearly taken up on the discussion about the difference in times between now & then, after we had discussed the book at length, thanks to thurles library i was able to request the dvd. We watched it in silence remembering the book and filing in any blanks that where left, it was a unanimous decision that they enjoyed the book better!!!!!
