On Tuesday 7th February, a presentation for parents on Internet safety will be held in Thurles Library in the Source at 7 p.m. Focusing on Facebook, this presentation will give parents an overview of it and advise what they can do to maximise the safe use of it by their children.

Presented by Amanda Chambers, who has over 20 years experience in information technologies and who is parent to 3 teenagers, the talk is aimed at the “lay person” – no previous IT knowledge is required!
