Summer Reading Tree at Cahir Library

This year Cahir library was one of several libraries in Tipperary that particpated in the summer reading scheme, sponsored by the Bank of Ireland. At Cahir library the reading scheme proved to be a great success, with the tree being clearly visible to passers by, and to those who entered the library.

An awards ceremony will shortly follow in the library, where children who particpated will receive their Reading Tree medal, and a reading certificate.

Beneath are some photographs taken by Ann Tuohy of some of the children who particpated, the reading tree iteslf.
