BorrowBox Charts For August

August has flown past so it’s time to look at what has been popular on BorrowBox this month!

The popularity of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has had a resurgence following the release of a new edition with additional content and has returned to the top of our eBook chart.

Our eBook title of the month for August, The Last Tudor by Philippa Gregory enters our BorrowBox charts at number 5, beating Jo Nesbo’s The Thirst, which was also newly available on BorrowBox this month.

Lee Child is doing well at the moment as well with three titles in our top twenty! With Bolinda, the company behind BorrowBox, becoming Lee Child’s library audio publisher, his future eAudiobook titles will be exclusive to BorrowBox so expect to see more of him in our charts in the future!

In eAudiobooks, James Patterson’s new thriller Fifty Fifty was our eAudiobook title this month and has debuted in our top five. It’s release has also led to the original title in this series Never Never reappearing in our chart, giving Patterson three titles in our top twenty this month.

Another fantastic new title that came out in August and is in our chart is Colm Toibin’s House of Names. This title is read by a full cast, including Juliet Stevenson, which really brings this dramatic story of love, family and betrayal to life.

Victoria Hislop’s Cartes Postales from Greece is still in our top twenty. As it has been picked as one of the new Richard and Judy titles and with a wonderful full cast recording, I would not be surprised if this title continued to feature in our charts in the near future.

All titles are available to borrow from BorrowBox. Set up an account with your library card and PIN. Then download the BorrowBox app to your phone, tablet or PC/laptop to get started.
