The fourth annual nationwide Adult Learners' Festival will take place from February 22nd to February 26th 2010! 

AONTAS would like you to get involved...

AONTAS believes that all adults in Ireland should have equal access to learning opportunities.We believe that adult learning has a hugely important role to play in the economic and social future of Ireland.We know that adult learners and adult learning centres do vital work on a daily basis.

The Adult Learners' Festival is about

• Celebrating adult learning and the achievements of adult learners
• Showcasing the work of adult education providers
• Promoting the work of AONTAS and the adult education sector
• Ensuring that adult education is placed firmly on the political agenda

Some events Tipperary Libraries hold to support ADULT LEARNERS FESTIVAL 2010 are:

• 22nd Feb. - Adult Education and Adult Guidance Services will hold and Information Day - Nenagh Library - 2-4 pm.
• 22nd Feb. - Printmaking - Cahir Library
• 23rd Feb. - Decoupage - Cahir Library
• 24th Feb. - Tipperary Libraries Information Stand at Tipperary Institute, Thurles Campus
• 24th Feb. - North Tipperary Adult Guidance Service ( VEC) will hold a drop in session between 2-4 pm. - The Source, Thurles Library
• 25th Feb. - Tipperary Libraries Information Stand at Tipperary Institute, Clonmel Campus
• 25th Feb - Printmaking - Cahir Library
• 22nd - 26th Feb. - Carrick on Suir Library will display a local women's group arts and crafts.
• 22nd - 26th Feb. - Tipperary Town Library will display Paintings, Jewellery and Handbags by Cuan Croi Day Care Centre.
• 25th Feb - Clonmel Library - 7 pm - Grow it Yourself, talk on composting and sustainable living by Nuala Madigan, Environmental Education Officer with the Irish Peatland Conservation Council.
• 26th Feb- Facepainting - Cahir Library
