Carrick-on-Suir: Dogs Trust Visit

Pupils from Newtown Upper National School were delighted to visit Carrick-on-Suir Library yesterday to meet Deirdre from Dogs Trust. Deirdre gave an excellent talk about how to take care of your dog and told a wonderful story about Patch – the first dog to be rescued by Dogs Trust.

Deirdre also brought two very special guests, Conan and Sadhbh, her German Schnauzers.

Conan and Sadhbh are educational dogs and they taught the  children from Newtown the correct way to behave around dogs.

All the children got to pet the dogs and great time was had by all.
