Tuesday the 25th April was our first Spring into Storytime event of 2017. Librarian Pat Glavin treated the Presentation Primary junior infants and their parents to a dose of Naughty Children stories. The children heard about the antics of Billy Brownmouse and the cautionary tale of Wanda who got whatever she wanted ….. or did she?
Colouring sheets and certificates of ‘naughtiness’ were handed out to the eager little hands.
The theme of the day is that it is never too early to start reading to your children. It creates a bond of shared memories between parents and children and opens their hearts and minds to the pleasures of a good book.
