Carrick-on-Suir Library was the place to be last Tuesday if you wanted to go on a Bear Hunt. Pat, our resident story teller and all round entertainer, was in full flight mode as he took two Junior Infant classes from Presentation Primary through the classic ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Helen Oxenbury and Michael Rosen.
The children were in great voice and joined in the ‘chorus’ at great volume. We definitely need a new roof on Carrick Library now!!
Afterwards the children made their very own set of bear ears and honey loops edible necklaces.
Job well done Pat – thank you!
Honey Loops to go. Here Come The Girls (and Boys).
