Seed Bottle and Peacock in the Garden are two art works donated to Carrick on Suir Library by two women artists. Renée Ní Gíg is a library user and kindly presented us with a present of Seed Bottle to brighten up our walls in the same way that the library service brightens up her life. Renéé lives locally and a number of her art works grace the town. Peacock in the Garden came to us from Russia with love and was donated by Miriana Ryndian on the occassion of her leaving Carrick on Suir for the bright lights of Dublin. She said that Carrick on Suir library was her best friend while she lived in Carrick, helping her to learn the language and supplying her with books.

Thanks to two talented and wonderful ladies and please know that these artworks will adorn the walls for years to come and we will think of you often.  Your donations have given us a lift and make us feel very appreciated. Continued success to you both.
