Majella Ryan is a self taught artist, she works from her home in Ballinure , South Tipperary. She juggles her painting with a busy home life.  After leaving school she studied for a year at the Crawford school of Art in Cork.  She decided not to make a career from painting but has continued to paint all her life. She paints mainly with acrylics but has also worked with watercolors and oils. Colour and flow are very evident in her paintings and she derives her inspirations from Irish folklore and mythology.

John Hayes is from County Kildare and is teaming up with Majella for this exhibition which runs for the month of May.  Majella and John will officially launch their exhibition Saturday, May 7th at 3pm.  Below ; Jimi by John Hayes and Tiger by Majella Ryan
