knittingThis May, as part of the annual Bealtaine Festival, members of the Nenagh Knitting and Crochet Club decided to do a collaborative knitting and crochet blanket. Each person contributed a square and when it was stitched together this wonderfully colourful throw emerged. It was decided to donate it to ‘Suaimhneas’, North Tipperary’s Nenagh Cancer Support Centre, which is based in Gortlandroe, Nenagh. Members are hoping that this throw will brighten up the Centre.
