Marine Comperatore Kearney (MCK)
An artist since 2008, Marine Kearney has redeveloped her career, having previously
travelled and worked around the world as a business manager in IT. Her passion for travel and discovering new cultures has fed her imagination which comes through her painting. She started working in oil painting and loves to use mixed media to create her own feminine world.
Today, she is influenced by women she has met from different cultures, and local landscapes. An autodidact, she is inspired by her Artist godmother Patricia Seraidarian and Hungarian artist Gabor Szytthia who now lives in the South of France close to where Marine’s parents live. Marine is now based in Clonmel and her work is influenced by the Impressionists Monard, Monet, Klee and the Expressionism period.
Jacqueline Bates Gartlan (JBG)
Jacqueline Gartlan is a self-taught artist, working in oil, still evolving, still learning! She is inspired by the Impressionists, and by her love of the Irish landscape and seascape, and enjoys the challenge of capturing their beauty with the use of colour and light. Old doors and buildings also inspired this body of work.
She has previously exhibited successfully in Clonmel, Cahir, Dungarvan and Naas, and has completed numerous commission pieces.
