It is great to welcome back Cashel native, Joan Anne Attenbury for July’s exhibition.  Joan Anne was born in Cashel but moved to the UK to study nursing where she lived until her return to Ireland in 1996.  She now lives in Roscommon but has lots of family still living in Cashel. Although not trained in the Arts she has always been a great enthusiast. After returning to Ireland she began working with batik but slowly developed a keen interest in relief painting. Her interest in Celtic Mythology has been a great source of inspiration for much of her work. Her studies are enhanced by originality of style combining a rich mixture of colour, novelty & mystery.
