Historical Postcard Collection
Bailúchán Chártaí Poist Stairiúla
Tipperary Libraries' Local Studies Department has put together a collection of over 300 postcards, and these paint informative images of the county from as early as 1905. Included in the collection are images of some of the county's most famous and significant landmarks and monuments, along with some more recent images that give a fascinating insight into life in Tipperary's towns in years gone by.
This is a unique collection and one which, it is hoped, will attract the attention of those with an interest in the colourful and eventful past of our county and the characters, places and buildings that shaped it.
