Nenagh book bunch recently read Jacqueline Wilson’s The Longest Whale Song. The members generally gave the book a big thumbs up and really enjoyed it. The Longest Whale Song is about step families, bullying and coping with changes. The members enjoyed the way the characters changed and began to get along better when they started to understand each others’ troubles. The book made them think about what happens when you give someone special treatment and the members all agreed that it is always better to treat everyone as normal. The members loved the character of Jack and enjoyed seeing how Jack and Ella began to get along better when they were forced to co-operate. This book comes highly recommended by the Book Bunch!
