Nenagh: Exhibition By Susan Cronin

Susan Cronin is originally from Cork, but grew up in the village of Carney. She studied art as a Leaving Certificate subject. Following a career in hairdressing, Susan renewed her interest in art three years ago when she picked up a paintbrush to try her hand at oil painting. She took to this medium immediately, displaying a natural talent and flair. She has developed a distinctive style, both as a landscape painter and a portrait artist. Her landscapes, typically of Irish countryside and coastal scenes, have an uplifting quality and her portraits have evolved to capture not just a physical likeness of her subjects but also their inner emotional world. Her exhibition will run in Nenagh Library for month of February. Please check specific exhibition times by phoning library staff on 067 34404, as the exhibition space is also used as a meeting space for library clubs and community groups.
