[slideshow_deploy id=’18685′]Helene Moran is an artist based in Ballinahinch, Co. Tipperary. She only started painting in the last 3-4 years despite being interested in art and painting since childhood. Helene works almost exclusively in oils; varying styles and subject matters. She has previously exhibited in Newport and Ballina – her work is for sale in Quay Arts (Ballina) and the Art Gallery, Superquinn, Castletroy. She won first prize in a local art competition in 2013 for the painting ‘Leah and Bob’ which is included in this current exhibition. Helene considers art as a great gift and “a gateway to expressing your ideas, feelings and emotions” and hopes that you enjoy her exhibition in Nenagh library which runs for the month of April 2014.
