Poets do more than produce poems! Their work reflects, expresses views, opinions, issues and knowledge of how society and civilisations may be viewed in the longer term. In addition, poems are written to be best appreciated through recitation. To encourage children to enjoy this spoken art, students from our Primary Schools were asked by Cashel Arts Festival to choose from a variety of poems supplied to each class.
Students representing their classes from 2nd to 6th will perform their selections in Cashel Library on Culture Night, Friday the 22nd of September from 5-6pm. This is a free event, but you must book your place to attend this performance. For more information, contact Cashel Library on 062 63825
