A cross-generational project sponsored by Tipperary County Council promoting singing in the community.

There are many physical and psychological benefits to singing on a regular basis.

Come along to this after-school project and share our rich heritage of song and singing with each other.

Who?               School- children, their parents, grandparents, relatives and local                     musicians/songwriters

How?          An informal gathering of the community, men and women, boys and girls. All generations singing, sharing and communicating through song. These sessions will be led by Alan Leech, an experienced singer and teacher.

Where and When? 

St Olivers NS, Heywood Rd, Clonmel.

  19th and 26th May @3.00pm

                                         St Mary’s CBS Boys Primary School, Irishtown, Clonmel                       20th and 27th May @2.40pm

                                          Our Lady of Mercy Primary School, Cahir.                                                                                              21st and 28th May @ 3.00pm

                              Each Session will last no longer than 30 minutes.

Building for the Future

Part of this project is to encourage and mentor potential choral leaders/directors. If you know someone who fits the bill and has a musical background, encourage them to come along.
