Europe Direct, a new information service at Thurles Library, was launched on Wednesday 6th May by Cllr. Tom Harrington, Chairman of County Tipperary Joint Libraries Committee. In his speech, Cllr. Harrington said that “it was a great honour to be chosen for this project. The location of Thurles Library here at the Source, an award winning building, has helped raise our profile on a national level and has brought opportunities such as this our way.”
