Sucessful Ageing Thurles are delighted to work with McKevitt’s Costcutters Thurles for their monthly ‘Super Tuesday’ promotions. Next Tuesday, 29th April, there will be a coffee morning, with lots of home baking, in Costcutters on Friar St. – all in aid of Successful Ageing Thurles. We’ll be in the store all morning and you’re very welcome to come along, meet the committee, learn about the work we do and to support our efforts in making Thurles an age-friendly town.

Successful Ageing Thurles is a registered charity that organises a programme of events in Thurles for Positive Ageing Week each year. The committee members are: Garda Chris Verling (chairperson), Michael Wright (Home Instead Senior Care), Cllr Evelyn Nevin, Ann-Marie Brophy (Thurles Library), Bob Maher (Society of St. Vincent de Paul), Catherine Hayes (Golden Years, St. Mary’s Health Centre), Nancy Tynan (Active Retirement) and Fr. Pat Coffey.
