The Ursuline secondary school TY girls, together with their teacher Mary Slattery, presented their project in the library last week.  It is now on display for public viewing. Not only did they research many serious elements of the Holocaust, but they also constructed a mock up of the Auschwitz camp, together with a bunk bed resembling the original bedding. This subject is very current as we mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. We would urge you to come and see the hard work the girls have put into their project. They thoroughly enjoyed the shared experience of reading such a thought provoking novel and spoke at length about the subjects that interested them most.  Well done girls!
