In line with the recommendations under level three under the Living with Covid-19 plan, public libraries will be available for online services and ‘Contact and Collect’ only from Wednesday 7th October 2020.

Our branches will be closed to the public and we will reinstate our Contact and Collect service. The national online catalogue is also active, so books can be reserved both online and via phone for collection at your chosen library branch.

For Contact and Collect:

  1. Contact the Library Service by phone, email or web chat
  2. Check for the books you want or try a lucky dip!
  3. Arrange a date and time to collect your books

Remember, you can return books to the library, and you can request books as usual through the catalogue.

Your library membership gives you access to a wide range of online services too, from magazines and newspapers, to eBooks, eAudiobooks, language learning and online courses.
