Jan Wawryka was born in Birmingham England of an Irish born mother who hails from Clonmel and his father who is a native of Krakow, Poland. Jan has a love for the Irish and Polish landscape and its people.
Jan resides in Carrigeen, New Inn, Cashel, Co Tipperary. He acquired his art skills from S.T.A.G. and and friends Jill Bickerstaff and Laurence Willaimson, two well known artists of English and Irish renown. Jan exhibited in The Gallery in Cahir, Cashel Library and The Excel in Tipperary Town. He gets wonderful enjoyment from painting, mainly oils and is aiming to teach art and pass on his skills.
