Tipperary County County Library Service were delighted to bring author Linda Chapman to visit us all the way from the UK. Linda visited for a week, visiting 8 of our libraries. Linda gave great insight on how she became an author and some tips on how to write a story. She read from the popular series Sophie and the Shadow Woods which worked really well among the boys and girls. The children also helped create a character with strengths and weaknesses to show how to put ideas on paper when creating a story-line. The session was followed by lots of questions for Linda. Linda’s workshop was hugely popular among the children as well as the teachers. Linda is the author of 236 books so you’ll find lots to read by her in your library.
