Clonmel Library was delighted to stage Jean Farrell’s wonderfully entertaining play, The Six Marys . The large audience of over 50 people laughed, sang along with Ursula and joined Jean on a true trip down memory lane of Ireland with six true friends, from childhood to middle age. A no holds barred look at Ireland in the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s and right up to present day.
The comments afterwards summed up the evening of side-splitting… fun and memories:
“the best play I have seen for years”
“brought me back to my teenage years, many moons ago”
“I want to see this play again as I missed parts of it I was laughing so much”.
“I haven`t sang so happily for years”
