Tomás O’Maoldomhnaigh is currently exhibiting in Cashel Library until the end of April. In this exhibition, simply called ‘Stepping out’, one can see his varied interests in all things equine. This is Tomas’s 25th Solo art exhibition all around Ireland. He works in oils, watercolours and charcoal, and his subjects range from landscapes to portraits and equestrian commissions.

Tomas’s enthusiasm for the horse has inevitably led to him sketching, drawing and painting the horse in all manner of sporting environments. He enjoys the atmosphere and variety of the Irish equine scene but often chooses to portray the less obvious and more intimate nature of equine life.

Clare artist Tomás creates classically inspired custom oil portrait & landscape paintings. However he has a wide range of interests including equine art and still life’s.

He is also presently exhibiting in Ballymaloe and his work was selected in the open section for this year’s Dublin Painting and Sketching Club Annual exhibition also in April. He has been a finalist in the Bath Prize competition in the UK for two years running. His paintings can be found on the walls of many of Irelands top company’s such as Aughinish Alumina, Pfizer, Wyeth, SmithKline Beecham, Roche, Organon, BectonDickson and many more.

Details of the works can be seen on Tomas’s Facebook page.
