Christmas story-time was full of festive fun on Saturday morning with a morning full of Christmas stories and songs with lots of wonderful Christmas jumpers from Rudolph and robins to the flashing T Rex! There were lots of stories of Santa and his adventures in the North Pole followed by some great Christmas dancing to some great songs When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney, 5 Little Snowmen and A Dancing Christmas Tree. The children made paper plate Snowmen faces for their fridges at home with the help of all the parents! We also had a wonderful surprise visit from some of the cast of this years pantomime in The Source Thurles, Sleeping Beauty. Aurora, Malificent and the good fairy called to see the boys and girls at story-time. We took lots of photos! Thanks to the members of the cast who took time out to pop into the library and to Bailey Ryan Casey of The Presentation Secondary School TY for volunteering to face-paint on the morning. We hope everyone enjoyed a busy morning! After lunch Danielle Martin facilitated a Christmas workshop for children from the ages 7-12years. They made Christmas angels and a centrepiece for their tables on Christmas Day. Thanks to Danielle for her wonderful work and to all the children who attended all of the events today! Don’t forget the Christmas Pyjama Party has yet to come so get booking your place today on 0761-06-6131
