‘EU and Me…What has the EU ever done for me?’: A Citizens Dialogue in Nenagh Library

Nenagh EDIC will host a Citizens Dialogue on ‘EU and Me…What has the EU ever done for me?’ in Nenagh Library on Thursday the 4th April at 7 pm. The speakers are Dr Stephen Kinsella, Professor of Economics, UL and columnist for the Sunday Business Post and Noel Whelan SC, political analyst and columnist with the ‘Irish Times’. They will both speak on the topic ‘EU and Me…What has the EU ever done for me?’

 

We are delighted that Iva Pocock, Journalist,with 25 years experience in communications and journalism will be our moderator for this event.

 

Their talk will focus on the importance of the European Union, the benefits of our membership and the significance of the upcoming European Elections in May.

This talk will be followed by a question and answer session and questions will be taken from the floor.

This event is a Citizens Dialogue presented by Nenagh Library which is the Europe Direct Information Centre (EDIC) for counties Tipperary, Limerick, Cork and Kerry. This major event is part of our 2019 EDIC Programme of Events.
