Developing a close interest in the social history of Ireland\, Mary has come to believe that one of the greatest contribution senior citizens can make is remembering how things were\, and seeing the past in the context of the past. \nShe has written for over 30 newspapers and magazines along with a “selective memoir” in 2013\, “Something of Myself – and Others” and “A Day at a Time\,” a collection of reflections\, published in December 2016.
