Quinn was an avid photographer who documented his life in both Ireland and abroad through images. Spanning a period of great change in Ireland\, this collection provides insight into the evolving landscape and culture of Quinn’s native country in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. \nThe accompanying Tipperary Studies documentary film ‘I Hope All My Friends Come Out Safe will be shown on Wednesday\, May 28th at 6pm.

DESCRIPTION:Throughout the path of life Tommy Treacy has journeyed on\, hurling has always played a hugely important role. His passion for the game of hurling\, and in particular Tipp hurling\, inspired Tommy to write his book “The Life and Times of a Tipperary Hurling Supporter”. For this event in Clonmel Library Tommy will talk about his book\, his experiences as a lover of Tipperary hurling and his life. \nTommy Treacy\, who currently lectures at Griffith College Cork and Limerick\, ministered for a period of time as a Deacon in the Dioceses of Cork & Ross and Waterford & Lismore. \nThis is a FREE event. Booking is not required. Just turn up at 6:15pm on Wednesday the 21st of May.
