DESCRIPTION:Haywood Lodge residents (ages 60+) and the nursing staff in Clonmel\, Co. Tipperary are over the moon to be taking part in the national Bealtaine Festival 2024\, which is themed ‘Lust for Life’. \nWe took full advantage of it being the 40th anniversary of the Punk revolution and let our inner rebels loose. No t-shirts or furniture were spared as we dyed\, pinned and ripped our passion out. We had fun and reminisced on a time we knew about and read about but being in rural Ireland – we really didn’t get to play a true part in this culture… until now! \nSo please come to Carrick-on-Suir Library and see the work of the artists of Haywood Lodge\, Clonmel from May 1st until May 17th. \nNo booking required – however due to the large number of events happening during May please phone ahead on 051-640591 to ensure viewing is possible.
