“Chronic Pain Ireland” will hold a talk about chronic pain and how self management techniques can help you better manage and cope in Nenagh Library on Tuesday 3rd September from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  All are welcome and no need to book a place, simply pop in.

Martina Phelan is Chronic Pain Ireland’s speaker and this talk is for anyone living with pain or supporting someone.  All are very welcome to attend.  During the talk Martina (who herself lives with a chronic pain condition) will outline and discuss the following:

  • What is Chronic Pain?
  • What makes Chronic Pain different to other pain?
  • How can Chronic Pain Ireland support you?
  • Key facets of Self-Management skills including: Pacing, Managing Flare-Ups, Exercise, Relaxation, Sleep, Medication and Minding your Mental Health.

This is a free event Healthy Ireland at Your Library event and all are welcome.
