Children’s author Linda Chapman was in Thurles library on Tuesday where she delivered a lively workshop to the pupils of Two-Mile-Borris. Linda gave great insight on how she became an author and some tips on how to write a story. She read from the popular series Sophie and the Shadow Woods which worked really well among the boys and girls. The children also helped create a character with strengths and weaknesses to show how to put ideas on paper when creating a story-line. The session was followed by lots of questions for Linda. Linda’s workshop was hugely popular among the students as well as the teachers.
