Thurles Library will host numerous events tomorrow 23rd June from 11am -4pm. A festival of music, creativity and story-telling for children of all ages. Meet Jelly Bean Julie and enjoy a morning of magic, puppetry and ballooning! Danielle from Masquerade Parties will be available for face-painting and will also introduce Pavement Art to the children along with other arts and crafts on the day. Fergal O’Connor will host 3 drumming workshops starting at 12.30pm. Bring the family and enjoy this fun filled high energy session and lets make music! How creative are you? Discover robotics with the LearnIt Robotics workshops running from 11am. LearnIt will run 3 workshops suitable for different age groups. This is a bookable event so book your place to avoid disappointment. Story-telling will take place at 1.15pm with librarian Suzanne. This will include stories and dance for all our younger kids. Do you have somebody in the house with a love of Paw Patrol & Trolls? Chase from Paw Patrol & Princess Poppy from the movie Trolls will pay a visit to the library on Saturday to meet the children and to get some photos taken! Our scavenger hunt will run all day drop your completed sheet into the box and maybe you might win a prize! Finally, the launch of our Summer Stars Reading Challenge will take place on the day at 12 o’clock register on the day at the desk and receive your Summer reading pack! Plenty to entertain the family this Saturday and the best news is ALL EVENTS ARE FREE!
