We were all rockin’ around the Christmas tree this morning in Thurles Library when the pupils from Senior Infants in Scoil Angela dropped in for some festive stories, songs and dance. After getting their Rudolph faces painted on they settled down to some wonderful Christmas tales with Suzanne, including “There’s an Elf in Your Book” and “The Gruffalo”. They also sang and danced to “The Freeze Song” and “Five Little Snowmen”. Fresh from the roaring success of their recent Christmas show the children then treated us to some of their own festive repertoire, including “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”. They also got the crayons out and decorated their very own stockings to hang on their Christmas trees at home.

We all had a smashing morning with a super class. Thanks to their teachers for bringing them along, we hope to see them all very soon in the New Year.
