If you passed by Thurles Library this week you may have seen the beautiful St. Patrick’s Day paintings being created on our library windows by the fantastic 2nd year art students from Colaiste Mhuire Co Ed, Thurles On Monday, 14th of March, we welcomed the super talented Niall, Lexie, Erin, Emily & Keelan in to Thurles Library to decorate our windows for St. Patrick’s Day. They put in such hard work into this project over the last few days and we can all proudly say that our windows have never looked better!! A huge thank you to teacher Ms Dorney & Ms Rice who facilitated this project for us and we’re fantastic to work with.

Our very own Jackie also spread that St Patrick’s Day cheer into the rest of our Children’s area!

We had great activities and events throughout the week between Activity Packs, Craft Bags, Lego Workshops & Seachtain na Gaelige Storytime! We had craft bags available throughout the week with everything needed to create your own Leprechaun Hand Puppet! We received this gorgeous photo of Katie with the Leprechaun she created, we all think she did a fantastic job!!
