It’s been a busy few days in Thurles Library as we welcomed back several of our local primary schools for Tipperary Studies’ People & Places Exhibition.

As it’s been almost two years since our libraries have been able to host school visits, we wanted to come back with a BANG! Over the last week we welcomed 180+ students and their teachers to the library for a chance to view some of the super interesting local history items on display. We invited 5th & 6th class students from Scoil Ailbhe CBS, Presentation Primary School and Gaelscoil Bhride Durlas Eile to take part in our tour, try our fun quiz and chat to our experienced Tipperary Studies librarians!!

We hope you all had a great time and learnt lots of new information about our county’s rich history.
