Rachel from Templemore Library was delighted to pay a visit to Castleiney N.S. yesterday afternoon for an early celebration of World Book Day which takes place this Thursday, March 2nd!

There was great excitement, with the pupils all dressed up as their favourite book characters! We had great fun reading Jonathan the Magic Pony, Achoo!, and The Loney Beast for the junior room and then a chapter from David Walliams’ The World’s Worst Parents for the senior room.

Thanks to Mrs Maher & Ms Hogan who were so welcoming to their lovely school and to all the students who made the visit so enjoyable!!
