Tipperary Libraries Schools Library Service provides FREE support for all the primary schools in Tipperary. Teachers are welcome to come to Thurles to select books for class novel loan and Special Needs loans.The Schools Department will be open 1 day, please ring for an appointment to avoid disappointment. You can also phone or e-mail orders which can be delivered to one of our branch libraries near your school. Click here for branches . The service is located in the Library Headquarter offices in Thurles. This service is available by appointment only. Please contact the Schools Library Service Manager at least a week before you intend to visit. Members of Tipperary Libraries have FREE access to Encylopaedia Britannica Online, just follow the links on our website and use the 14 digit barcode no. on your library card to access a range of information, images for all ages.
