Business & Employment Services

If you run a business or are thinking of starting one, Tipperary County Council Library Service can help you out. We act as part of a support system for those seeking employment. We also support the information and research needs of locally based entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.

What do we offer?

  • Professional library staff to help facilitate your search for employment.
  • Access to employment and career literature, business magazines, newspapers and online resources.
  • Access to PCs and printing to help you create and distribute your CV and/or complete online application forms. Search and apply for jobs in Ireland and abroad.
  • Develop new skills or refresh old ones via Universal Class. With over 600 online courses to choose from this is an invaluable upskilling portal.
  • Research funding sources for small businesses, connect with like-minded colleagues and share experiences.
  • We provide free access to Vision-Net (just use your Library barcode to log in), the Irish online business database. Read up on companies and potential employers.
