Tipperary Tales – Profiles of Notable People
Local historian and author Seamus J. King will launch his 25th publication, Tipperary Tales – Profiles of Notable People, in Cashel Library on Friday, 28th August at 6.00pm.
The book is a fascinating collection of profiles written over more than forty years. Originally published in a wide variety of newspapers and journals—some of which no longer exist—these articles celebrate the lives of remarkable people from across Tipperary whose contributions enriched their communities and left a lasting legacy.
This latest publication brings together many of these stories, preserving an important part of the county’s social and cultural history for future generations.
Everyone is warmly welcome to attend the launch in Cashel Library and celebrate this significant milestone for one of Tipperary’s most respected local historians.
