As part of the Children’s Book Festival, Cashel Library welcomed professional mosaic artist and heritage specialist Maedhbh Brosnan to facilitate a mosaic workshop. Maedhbh provided an engaging introduction to the art of mosaics, exploring their significance in Irish history. The first of three workshops was attended by 5th class boys from St. John the Baptist N.S., who learned about Irish mosaic traditions and had the opportunity to create their own mosaic designs.
