Join us on Saturday, January 3rd at 3:00 pm in Cashel library for the launch of the stunning art exhibition A Feast for The Eyes by talented local artist Amy Rose Hanrahan.
No booking required.
A Feast For The Eyes presents a vibrant and immersive body of work by artist Amy Rose Hanrahan, from Killenaule, Co. Tipperary. This exhibition celebrates Amy’s expressive approach to painting and her deep fascination with living things, inviting viewers into a world where colour, detail, and imagination intertwine.
Amy graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design in 2012 with a BA in Fine Art. In the same year, she was awarded The Propeller Award with The Copper House Gallery, Dublin, which included a bursary and her solo photography exhibition, The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things. She later completed an MA in Art Therapy at Crawford College of Art and Design in 2019 and now works as an Art Therapist in her private practice, a role that strongly informs her artistic sensitivity and insight.
Working primarily in acrylic, Amy’s paintings are rich in brilliant colour and meticulous detail. Her work goes beyond surface beauty, seeking to reflect the inner soul of her subjects and what makes each one unique. Through vivid imagination and an intuitive use of colour, she portrays both the inner and outer life of her subjects in a way that is emotionally resonant and visually striking.
Having begun taking commissions in October 2024 and developing this exhibition from June 2025, A Feast For The Eyes offers something audiences may not have encountered before, while hinting strongly at an artist whose work promises much more in the future
