Join local artist Colin Bolger for a hands on art workshop based on the Celtic Calendar Year and its magical links to the underworld.

This engaging workshop explores the ancient Celtic calendar, blending myth, art, and heritage. Participants will learn about the four Celtic seasons (Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasa, Samhain), the Ogham tree alphabet, and the rich folklore that underpins them. Through guided drawing exercises the participants will create their own symbolic calendars, weaving personal connection and creativity into the design.

The workshop duration is 3hrs 30mins and all materials will be provided.

This workshop takes place in Carrick on Suir library on a Tuesday August 19th from 12.30pm, and is part of our Heritage Week Programme.
