‘Thorn in my side’ is a collection of abstract pieces from artist Paulette O’Donovan.

“There are times in life, when everything goes well. We have peace in our hearts and minds, and we ‘float’ along … Not one person though, gets away with the bad or difficult stuff in life. What has been considered while creating all of these pieces, has been what materials to use to show tension for example, or peace and chaos. The colours used to convey these emotions and responses, have been chosen to match this idea.” – from the Artist Statement.

Paulette O’Donovan’s ‘Thorn in my Side’ exhibition will be on display in Clonmel library from Tuesday August 5th to Saturday August 16th during the library’s opening hours.
