Maria Jordan-O’Reilly and Ani Morton from The Sketchbook Library of Ireland Project will be in Cashel Library to facilitate this workshop as part of the Bealtaine Festival.

The Sketchbook Library of Ireland Project aims to compile an archive of Irish creativity. Participants will create sketchbooks that “form physical testimonies of lives lived, documented and shared”. “It’s not about being the best artist,” Maria says, “it’s about encouraging everybody to access that creativity.”

When participants return their finished sketchbooks, they are catalogued and added to the permanent collection, creating a time capsule of creativity for generations to come.
