Nenagh library will be showcasing the work of photographer Hugh O’Donnell during the month of June. This exhibition, sponsored by the Tipperary Creative Ireland Fund, includes landscape photographs of Tipperary, from majestic castles to humble botháns. Alongside the photographs are snippets of tales either collected by Hugh on his travels around the county or transcribed from The Schools Collection of Irish Folklore by Dúchas. This fascinating exhibition tells the story of our past; it reminds us of those that went before us, who made their mark on our landscape, who created and shaped our communities.
