  • A Collection of Things Nearly Forgotten - an archive of memories from County Tipperary. Complied by Thurles Men's Shed, Presentation Convent Clonmel, Borrisokane Men's Shed, Fethard ICA Guild and Tipperary artist Annie Hogg. Together, they have compiled and created a snapshot of a whole host of techniques, expressions and similar, which were familiar not so long ago in the daily lives of people living here in Tipperary. They turned this collection into a booklet and an accompanying radio show. We will be launching this project on 23rd September Thurles Library, between 6pm and 7pm with the radio show being aired on Tipp Mid West Radio at 11.05am 24th September, 1st October, 8th October and 15th October. A feature on Tipp FM will follow. After the launch, the booklet will be available in all Tipperary libraries. We would love if you would come and join us for the launch on 23rd September.
