Nenagh Library is delighted to host a beautiful new exhibition this June featuring the vibrant work of Irish artist Orla Carr!

​​Orla is based in Ardnacrusha, Co. Clare. She loves to create uplifting paintings full of energy, texture, light and vibrant colours. Her paintings are inspired by the ever-changing rhythms of nature, in particular flowers, trees and the Ocean. Each painting invites the viewer to pause, reflect and reconnect with the beauty that surrounds us. Her work explores themes of growth, renewal and the emotional power of colour. Her favourite medium is oil paint as she enjoys the buttery feel and texture it creates and above all she loves the finished look of an oil painting!

This Exhibition offers a joyful and immersive experience, revealing not simple subjects but symbols of life, resilience and transformation. Her paintings will be available to view or purchase at the Library in Nenagh until the end of June.
